An evening with Clive Thomas and Tim Hollis who will be playing and talking about the blues music and musicians that inspired them, as well as a few originals. Bring your own booze.
Island band Red Sqwrl play laid back Country Blues with their own songs and a contemporary take on traditional material. Their style is steeped in the music of (mainly) pre-war blues musicians like Memphis Minnie, Blind Boy Fuller, the Mississippi Sheiks, jug bands, Tampa Red and too many others to name, then filtered through Cale, Cooder and the Dead.
