Isle of Wight author, Jo Cooper proudly invites you to the launch of her second book, ‘A Red Sky’. Set in 1940, we discover 10 year old Lindy is evacuated to the Isle of Wight by her father, who stays in Portsmouth as an Auxiliary Fireman. Lindy comes to ‘Littlebridge’ where she meets Reggie who is the same age. We follow their adventures as the war rages around them.
Jo researched the various incidences that occurred during the period culminating in the massive raid on Portsmouth on the 10th January, 1941.
