Literary Charity Event with author Stephan Roman

An informal lunch with a literary twist.... Our presenter is Stephan Roman: author of the acclaimed book 'Isle and Empires: Romanov Russia, Britain and the Isle of Wight'. Stephan will focus his talk on the remarkable friendship between King Edward VII and Tsar Nicholas II of Russia; including the visit by the Romanov Imperial family to Cowes in 1909, a visit that is considered the high point in the entire history of Anglo Russian relations. Funds raised will be donated to Dementia U.K. Admiral Nurses IW.

The talk is free as Stephan has kindly waived fees and travel expenses

Maren and friends will prepare the delicious buffet luncheon which will include regional delicacies and wine or non-alcoholic beverages

Medina Publishing and Bookshop will provide the wine and welcome drink.

The charge for Luncheon including drinks is £25 per head
