Medina Bookshop 50 High Street, Cowes, Isle of Wight, United Kingdom

Join us for an evening in the company of esteemed author, journalist and all-round good egg Hunter Davies OBE. A force of nature, he and his wife Margaret Forster set the tone of the swinging sixties with their respective novels 'Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush' and 'Georgy Girl', both of which became hugely successful films. A friend of the Beatles he became their only official biographer, and his zest for life, love of people, and compulsion for writing has led to numerous books on a wide range of subjects from football to the Lake District and more recently London Parks. Tonight he'll be talking about his new book 'Love In Old Age: My Year In The Wight House'
