This book has been compiled by Brian Greening from an original, published in 1932, by Harry Guy that tells the story of the latter’s life from the time he was born in Temperance Terrace, Cowes, in 1862. It is one man’s story of the hardships of those early days, a time when with his father he grew up in Cowes and set up an engineering business and of his battles to keep the business solvent and his encounters with Royalty and members of the Royal Yacht Squadron.
