Welcome to the second ever mail-out of Post-Books. If you were a recipient of the last book we really hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

This month’s choice is ‘The Sentence’ by Louise Erdrich. A funny, passionate mystery, it’s about a ghost in a bookshop; it ticks all our boxes, how could we not choose it? A prolific author, this title was shortlisted for the Women’s Prize For Fiction last year and comes highly recommended, let us know what you think.

There’s a very interesting article in the New York Times here.

Thought I would play catch with a few thoughts on earlier books.

My first read in the group, “The Sentence” Louise Erdrich

Thoroughly enjoyed this. Introduced me to a culture I know very little about. Inspired me to read more by the author.

Obviously read this some time ago but I seem to remember thinking, “we all have our own ghosts and we need to find a way to put them to rest”
